Around 1833-1840, The Concord Methodist church ws moved, the building having become dilapidated, to a location on the plantation of Lieut. W. M. Redwine, between Big and Little Cedar Creeks, on the old campbellton road between Palmetto and Newnan on six acres of land-lot 176, Fifth district, and a building was erected. Trustees: Dabney P. Jones, James Kelley, Richard P. Penn, Lewis and John Redwine. the only evidence of the first location of this church is the burying ground where the remains of Jacob Redwine, Geat-grandfather of Ben. L., Frank H. and Dr. R. W. Redwine; John Powell, great-great grandfather of J. H. Powell and Mrs Lynch turner; and other pioneers Be
