Christine (Stephens) Adair "Shoebox"
This collection of photos is currently in the possession of Austin Stephens. It was given to him by his aunt Christine (Stephens) Adair to keep for the family. Christine was the daughter of Wade Andrew and Matilda (Barnett) Stephens. The collection of photos was handed down to Christine from her mother, Matilda Stephens. The photos are presented as scanned with no editing - just like you would be going through them from a "shoebox" where stored!» Christine (Stephens) Adair "Shoebox" 1 2 3 4 5 ... 75» Next» » Slide Show

Photo of the Wade Andrew and Matilda (Barnett) Stephens family taken about 1920, probably soon after the family moved into their home on McKenzie Street in Adairsville. The baby undoubtedly is Edwin Stephens who was born in June of 1919. The flooring in the photo has the same pattern as that found recently in a closet in the house on McKenzie. The children in the photo would be all of the family's children who would have still been minors, and likely still at home, in the year 1920.
Morris is standing in front of his father, Wade Andrew (W.A.) Stephens, Jr. is beside him, and Roscoe is standing behind him. The girls are Lutie on the left and Myrtice on the right. Could someone confirm all of this?
